Objective: Students will learn the difference between a local business.
Procedure:
Beginning- 1. Ask students popular businesses that are local and others that international.
2. Introduce my topic of international business and explain the difference between an international and local business.
Middle - 3. Explain what makes a business international.
4. Discuss why businesses decide to go international and tend to make more money than local businesses.
5. Discuss the different importances between the two and how they are significant to us in our own way.
Conclusion: 6. Restate main points made.
7. State why international business is important.
Check students for understanding: Ask students open ended questions on the material discussed. What do you know about international business? Can you give me an example of a international business and a business that is local?
Resources: - Whiteboard or poster paper
-Dry erase markers or markers
-A map of the world, marked w/ different businesses and arrows pointing to the countries they do business with.
